I started looking for a carrier bag. I bought several.

Some were practical for specific activities—cycling or hiking. But for the city, for everyday life, I could not find anything that truly suited me.

Most traditional pet carriers were… let us be honest… genuinely ugly.

Not “a little”.
Really.

I could not imagine going out with one on my shoulder.
Not with my outfits.
Not in my everyday life.

So I looked for something else…

Dog carriers that looked like handbags. But once again, I was disappointed. None were elegant. None truly looked like a real bag. None had room for my personal belongings.

The result: I was always carrying two bags. One for me. One for him.

And there was something else, one detail that annoyed me every time…

The materials. Down, faux fur. Soft, yes. But above all, impossible to clean. Within a few weeks, the bag was dirty. And there was nothing you could do about it.

I searched for a long time.
A very long time.
Because I thought someone must surely have come up with it before me.

But no. An elegant, practical and easy-to-clean city carrier designed for two—dog and human—simply did not exist.

At some point, I realised I had three options. Wait for someone else to create it. Create it myself. Or stop taking my dog everywhere.

I chose to create my perfect bag.

Because I knew exactly what it needed to be.
Because I had searched for it for years without finding it.
